Video Archived WebinarThe National Center for Systemic Improvement (NCSI) presented the fifth session in our Research to Practice Spotlight Series. This session focused on the key findings from a comprehensive meta-analysis examining writing interventions for students in the elementary grades. Drs. Collins and Ciullo shared practical, evidence-based approaches that states, professional development providers, and local education agencies (LEAs) can use to better support educators in utilizing evidence-based writing strategies. The session highlights practices to build teachers’ capacity to meet individual educational needs and expand student knowledge through effective writing instruction.
